Does the application of PVC and aluminum profiles guaranty the sound and heat insulation?

The sound and heat insulation of the profiles are provided with the insulation gaskets of various series, which are installed in the profiles. Because of the metals’ heat conduction there are two different types of aluminum profiles- with and without thermal break.
The thermal break plays a role of “partition wall” between the outer and internal sides of the profiles, excluding the transmission of the outside temperature inside.
The profiles with thermal break are designed for the outside openings.
Generally there is an opinion that aluminum profiles moisten, and even get covered with ice during winter period.
When profiles equipped with thermal break are applied, such problems are excluded. However it is worthy to mention the importance of humidity level in the apartment, or area.

The powder-coated profile does not lose its brightness, become disqualified, and does not fade for many years under the influence of weather changes and high humidity. Obviously this kind of result can be reached only in case of right exploitation.

What are more preferable- doors and windows made from aluminum profiles or PVC (metal-base laminated) profiles?

These are wholly differing materials-plastic and metal. And the quality advantages of the one or the other cannot be mentioned unambiguously because of this difference. The preference of the one or the other is concerned to the exploitation needs of the customer.

If the openings of the windows, stained-glass windows, and doors are large, it is preferred to place constructions from aluminum profiles, taking into consideration the durability of these profiles.
If dimensions of windows and doors are small, you can choose the PVC profiles without hesitation. They will have lower price, meanwhile providing sufficient quality and durability.

If problems appear, because of client’s fault, reconstruction and replacement works performed by Prof Al LLC masters will be done on the paid basis.
